wet cement

On the way to one interview, I had to walk through an area where some construction was going on. I was in a hurry not to be late, so I didn't notice the sidewalk wasn't quite solid yet. Yes, I'd stepped into wet cement, plunging my black pump in past the top of one side. So yucky! I'm sure anyone who saw me do it was chuckling! Fortunately, my interviewer was running behind schedule, so I was able to go to the washroom and wipe off most of the glop before I met with him.
