Hitting on the Receptionist, Not a Good Idea

My coworker told me about this one. He worked at a consulting firm a few years back and the company was interviewing for someone in sales. One guy came in for his interview and began hitting on the receptionist. And he wasn't charming.

He started right as he approached the desk, asking, "If I give you my name, will give you me your number?" He was then asked to be seated and wait for the sales manager to arrive. "...but if I take a seat over there, how will I be able to see you?"

He had the full court press on and this was RIGHT BEFORE THE INTERVIEW.

Turns out the receptionist was the sales manager's daughter. Not a good idea to do anyway, but even worse when it's your potential boss's daughter. That guy didn't even get in to do the interview. And he didn't get a date either.
