Definitely in the wrong room...

RussellI was one year out of art/design school and set up an interview at a fabric manufacturer to show my portfolio of graphic design work, which included textile patterns intended for clothes and fabrics. As I was waiting for my interview, there were four or five other guys waiting in the room with me, but I was the only one holding my portfolio. We were all led into a back room together which I thought was kind of strange for an interview, when suddenly all the other guys started taking their clothes off! It turned out that they were models there to model the latest line of shirts and pants for the company and the coordinator thought I was in the same group and there to model clothes! I quickly told her that I was probably in the wrong room, but I was flattered that she thought I could actually be a model. I eventually found the right person to speak with and ended up creating a variety of artwork and graphic patterns for the company.
