A bloody good interview story

A law student took the subway in NY to a very upercrust Law Firm for a job interview. The interview started at 11 am so he went after rush hour. While on the subway, a man and a woman who appeared to be dating got in to a fight and started swinging at each other. During the altercation they bumped in to the law student. He pulled himself together and went to the interview. At the firm, he met the receptionist, had 4 partner interviews and went to lunch in the firm dining room with 4 associates, where he also met several other attorneys going to and coming from his table. After the interview he stopped in the rest room and saw that he had been scratched on the neck during the altercation on the subway and had bled all over his shirt collar and the top portion of his shirt. During the entire interview not one person from the firm commented on his bloody shirt-just ignored it completely as if people who were bleeding interviewed with the firm every day. He didn't get an offer.
